Ordered and in production sooner than required
I finally got around to ordering an X3 on April 9th and was given a production time of late May. Was very surprised when I called the tracking number today to be informed my car is in production with schedule production completion of April 30. I did order with everything, so perhaps that has helped given the reported delays for orders without certain options. Am waiting on confirmation from dealer as well....

Same thing with us. I don't think the options have anything to do with it since their production line tells them what to install car by car. Our car was made 3 weeks early and sat their until our SC pickup appointment (which is the current bottleneck). From what I saw, the production line is loafing. They only work two shifts, 5 days a week and don't even kill themselves then (which is good).

I've all but given up my plans for collection from PDC. I was offered just one day at the end of May, and I just couldn't make it work. On the plus side, I get my new X3 much much sooner.
