How's your windshield holding up?
Hi all,
Picking up an M40i next week and thinking ahead about Xpel and Optimum Gloss Coat. Was wondering about the front windshield though... have some of you protected it as well, and how? If not, how does it hold up to everyday debris chipping away at it? My old 330i windshield looked like it went through a sandstorm after a couple of years when viewing into the sun. Really annoying. Thanks, Tim

Soft glass. Pitting doesn't event take 2 years. Coatings help a bit.

Ugh. Not what I was hoping to hear. Probably the worst part of my old car.
