In the UK, at least, the embossed X logo is only there on specific leather colours

I don't think I have to dome. Is it in the roof? I have a moonroof.

Yes on roof, must be an X4 feature for it has no pano option. I wonder if X3 LCI with no pano has the dome light.

It's available on the MSport too - but only with the Ivory White/Black or Mocha leather options

Still on media if you remove USB, CD and return them, the songs continue from the last pause setting.

If you're streaming a song/video clip on youtube (on your phone) to the car stereo, and it ended, and you want to replay the same song, just push the phone button on your steering wheel 2 times (dial last number) and immediately push again to stop calling, it will trigger your phone to reload the youtube video :-)

with the key in my pocket, I don't need to touch the door handle for the car to unlock. I need to get my fingers close enough to the door handle (fingers between the door handle and door panel) for the car to unlock. Kind of like proximity sensor, really cool.

With start stop on and you come to a while parking in your driveway, opening your door shuts down the engine completely no need to press off.

I just realized one that I love... the fact that the instrument cluster lights up even during the daytime. At least in my 2012 X3, the dials did not light up during the day and sometimes depending on the shade, etc - it made it difficult to read. Now, they are backlit white so it's never a problem anymore.

I noticed that when the parking sensors detect an object very close by, the brakes release slowly so that you don't hit it. Very useful for India.

You can use paddle shifters while in "D" and when you don't input it goes back to Drive mode, no need to touch gear shifter.

I use this quite a lot when arriving at junctions/roundabouts - can select a lower gear to keep the revs up and the turbos spinning for a faster getaway

I wonder what's quicker doing that or just pressing sport button!

If you've got the paddle shifters it's much faster than selecting sport as it's just a flick of the finger without removing your hands from the wheel

To be honest, unless I'm on a nice twisty road, I tend to prefer comfort mode to sport

When you slow down to a crawl and your PDC senses obstruction, your surround view will come on automatically.

Just discovered that when you hold (instead of press) the voice control, it lets you talk to Siri on your iPhone. (If it's connected by bluetooth)

Nope, I tried, doesn't work. I have the combox option with enhanced BT but it only does "normal" voice command. Looks like a new feature then...
