Cigarette Lighters not working fix

So, I asked the question below, which now seems ridiculous. I read thru all the posts regarding this, and everyone said - fuses! And I can now confirm YES, it was the fuse. Shame on the mechanic that stated below. One has to be diligent in today's markets... whatever happened to points & plugs LOL

2012 BMW x3 - Two of my cigarette lighters aren't working: the one near the cup holders and the one on the backside of the center console for the back seat folks. The one in the console works fine. The fuses look fine, but for the sake of argument, I took it to a mechanic to test and/or replace any rouge fuses. I was told that the fuses were OK, and the problem was a computer relay that would cost $1000 to replace. I'd greatly appreciate any insight should someone know what and where this allusive relay is.

Thank You - MLWBMW
