Hmmmm...

2018 (G01) X3 30i non-MSport with dual exhaust? Not bad IMO.

Those are photoshopped photos of the car with camo. Some details are wrong. The headlight will not connect with the kidney grills.

I'll admit its a valiant effort, but the taillights were just lifted from an F30 LCI and the sides are the F15 X5. Plus no air side vents.

New X3 (GO1)

Is the photo shown hear must be an enhanced image produced by some motering magazine to show what they believe the new X3 (GO1), as the Blog I just looked at, of the new X3 G01 has the Iconic LED Halo daylight running lights. Un like the photo shown on a link from this Thread.
If BMW had changed the daylight running light fron the pressent Iconic LED Halo ones to the ones shown in on the photo it would have been desateruse.

Updated June 15, 2017

The all new BMW X3 (G01) will be revealed imminently and that means it's now hit the road in its least camouflaged form, revealing nearly all. The X3's shape and lines can all now be seen through the thin camouflage film that remains. Stay tuned to BIMMERPOST as the X3 will have its world debut within the next 1-2 weeks and production begins August!

Was hoping to see inverted kidney grills like on the X2 concept. I thought that was supposed to be the new X design language.

And a premium car like this launching in mid-2017, still has halogen lights as standard... That's just plain wrong, greedy and such a shame. They should have been gone a long time ago!

Agree, I guess BMW has loads of them in store to cover a whole production cycle before changing them out and making LEDs as standard.

But as has been proven by BMW so many times before they need to empty their warehouses full of "old" tech before changing to new tech as standard but also making you pay for the old tech, and people keep buying the old tech still so i guess its working for them, considering their sales are going up constantly.

But this has been old tech for at least 10 years now. I might be extra angry because my F30 is with those shitty halogens and it will cost me the price of a small used car to change it to xenon

And you'd still be behind LEDs and "lasers."

People complaining about "blah headlights" and cheap "this" and why not "this" need to consider one thing. These vehicles at entry level are "cheap"...meaning that for this brand, they are at an affordable starting point for many consumers. If loading up on options that you do not need to get from point A to B is too much for you...you are purchasing the wrong vehicle. Do you really "need" LED headlights? The answer is no. There are plenty of "cheaper" brands that will give you LED as standard. If that is your priority, give them your money instead.

I am still hoping that BMW will surprise us all and release the X3M now. June 26th is right around the corner and the mules have been seen testing for almost 2 years now. At the minimum, I'm in for a loaded M40i and look forward to the reveal.

I would expect the M to follow much faster than previous (non X3, of course) releases have been. We've already seen the M5, less than a year after the 5er. But I bet it will still be six plus months until it's released.

As for LED's, it's important to remember that for the EU, the X3 will likely have a 3 cylinder as standard and cloth seats. So halogens aren't that out of place. For the US market, the 30 should be our base model and will likely have standard LED's.

The wheels are spectacular and it looks to be a handsome overall update.

My only concern is with the rear lights. While they are objectivly very nice, the fact that they are lifted from the X1 comes across as "cheap" which makes the x3 seem a bit more downmarket then it should. Same problem with the g30 and now 6 gt in regards to the 3
