I am confused on the color of the roof rails for M sports package. The website shows Satin silver finish but all the pictures I have seen is black. Can anyone has 2015 X3 M sports confirm the color of your roof rail? Thanks much..

It's up to you (if you're ordering). Satin is default.

I have black gloss roof rails, its standard on msport. if you want satin u can ask for it instead of gloss black

It may be different in the US but the UK M Sport Spec has shadowline trim as standard - so the roof rails are black (shadowline) but you can select the matt aluminium (or aluminum) finish as a no-cost option

but you cant get gloss black roof rails without msport, satin is standard for all lines

I have recent personal experience in this matter, and I can confirm what others above have told you.

I ordered a 2015 X3 with M sports package. Originally, I told the CA I wanted brushed aluminum. A few days later, I changed my mind and ordered high gloss black. Then 2 days later, I changed back to brushed aluminum - judging that it looked slightly more attractive with the exterior color I chose (Glacier Silver). My build date is the first week of December, so my CA is still willing and able to make changes for me.

Note that the high gloss black seems to be the default with the M sports package, so, if you want the brushed aluminum, you must expressly tell your CA. For that matter, it would probably be wise to confirm your choice either way, just to be safe.

After each iteration in configuration, my CA has been good about sending me a Vehicle Inquiry Report which lists all of the packages and options, including a number of items not visible on the online configurator. For the satin aluminum rails, the entry is: "3AT Roof rails in Satin Aluminum N/C". There is a little footnote on the entry which states "Alternate Option".

For completeness, the black high gloss rails showed up on the (now superseded) Vehicle Inquiry Report as: "3MC High-gloss Roof Rails N/C". This appeared as a subitem of the "387 M Sport Package". -scr

My 2013 M-Sport X3 came with brushed al. rails.
