Furious....first off..shes there, I saw her sitting at the dealership

---CA said hes not sure they deliver it to me yet, or wait until BMW gives them the ok...not sure why the f**k they'd send the car to the dealer if it isnt ready yet.

dont have my camera cable thingy to upload pics..but here's some pics that i took from my cell...sorry for the cell quality pics....I'll get more up later when I'm home..I'm just so pissed frustrated right now...I dont get why they would send the car to the dealership if it cannot sell yet.

My E60 got stuck in 10 cm of snow and I needed pushing up a small incline

They will probably toe the line with the release date then

Cheers for the pics, alloys look good (same as my order) the alpine white looks good also (was my second choice after black saphire)

They had a total of 3 others (that I saw)..so 4 total...two of them are "Demo" units..and seems like one of them..was being driven by the manager..

2 3.5i's and 1 2.8

I refrained from saying anything about test drives at least!!

Has anyone in the US taken delivery of one yet? This thread (http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=468331) seems to indicate they are available for delivery.

yeah, that seems like that thread was started by a CA at that dealer--I called up, and they have one available..so the other one apparently got sold.....

I'm not sure why my dealer would hold this car if others around the U.S are selling...my dealer is the highest volume dealer in the Southeast U.S...so I really dont get what the hell is going on.

to make things worse--my CA is one of their top CA's so he's ALWAYS busy, always on the run.

"Your X3 arrived here today and it currently being serviced. My manager is contacting the regional rep to see if we can deliver now or have to wait for the “official” release date. I’ll let you know."

What is the "official" release date? Is it global or only related to your vehicle? This is torture! I really hope they end this before Christmas. At least you saw your car - meager consolation but still something.

I dont know the exact date..but I've been told "sometime in January"..but it makes no sense to me at all, because other dealers in the area that ive called just to see what they say, have said nothing about it..and are willing to sell even their demo units...so I dont know wth is going on...

Yeah, atleast I saw it..but its like sending a kid to a candy store, but telling them they cant have any!

My CA is out for gall bladder surgery and the holidays so have to wait to speak with him. I too got a production # the day of the order so does the vin have anything at all to do with the tracking. I assume he will give me the 800 # as well. Sorry to bug you.

UPDATE-- I'm taking delivery tomorrow around 1pm.

As far as tracking--if you have a VIN now, that means your car has begun production. Also the # is 1800 831 1117. option 2 for vehicle tracking. listen to the prompts..it only takes about 20 secs or so.

Nice congrats ! My should be in few weeks , I also have the X28i silver with chestnut , wave wood , on the tail pipes are you going to get the sleeve to go over ? How that look with out it ? That and all weather mats I will me getting , congrats again great looking car ! Post more pics and how you enjoy the ride and handling .

It didnt look good at all without the chrome on the pipes---I already got them!!

I will get my chrome exhaust trim before the car arrives at the dealers and stick it on before I drive it away!
