Chrome tips install

Hey everyone, I can't seem to get the chrome tips all the way in, an now I cant get them out either. Any advise on what to do? Here are some pictures on what the issue is

These look "on" to me. Right one could use a little counter clockwise twist to center it.

I can't get the bottom clip past the original exhaust so It's not all the way in

Well, your installation looks like mine. I believe that is a "stop". In any case, mine have been on 2.5 years with no problems.

You did the same thing I did at first. The tip needs to turn clock wise a little so it flows with the curve of the bumper. I took a piece of wood and a ruber mallet and gave it a good pop. Mine fit perfect all the way to the end and you cannot see the original pipe at all.
