This may not take off as an idea but I thought I'd try to start a thread to see if two XBimmer members can spot each other on the road. So here's my starter for 10:

Jct15 M4 17:45 space grey m sport travelling west (in the slow lane and in need of a wash!)

I've seen a Silver X3 with Xenons near Ledbury Hertfordshire and I parked next to a white 2.0D Manual MSport in Townhead, Settle. North Yorkshire and I've seen a Black X3 with Xenons on a 12 plate near Ironbridge.

Anyone?

I saw a new AW M Sport going up NW Thurman+ NW 29th yesterday, 08 29 12, in Portland. Mine is a Space Grey 35i.

It worked for PH: SAS spotted thread local member spots as well as exotic and things of interest.

You're local(ish) to me. what distinguishing features should I look out for?

Mine has a PH sticker just under the rear spoiler

Yeah, I saw a similar thing on the Touareg forum too. I recognise your username from the other forum. Will look out for you. If you see 777 on the number plate, that's mine

If you see a Blue Water X3 28 in Houston especially inside the Loop, it may be my wife. Or me if she lets me drive it on the weekend. There aren't too many Blue Waters around but it is the color she wanted. When I did the PCD last month during the factory tour I only spotted one BW on the assembly line.
