Snow Sticks to this car or it sticks to snow...

So got some real winter driving in with the Blizzaks. Love them.

The car was predictable in snow. When I did induce a slide with control on and off the car did exactly what I thought it would... Which is way important.

The only thing is that the headlights are not throwing enough heat off to keep the snow from sticking to the headlight covers. I wonder is there is something that I could apply to prevent this.

A pleasure in the snow for sure....

Looks like you had some fun! Zaino Z-8 might help with the headlights.

Maybe something like "Rain-X" can help ... Since we have a lot of snow in Quebec, I'll try that. And the foglights ?

Headlight washers not too effective at clearing off that snow I assume?

I might hedge and put some money on a record breaking mild winter. Help recoup some of the winter tyre and wheel cost

To OP:

Have you had your X3 for a while? If not maybe it is because the water-based paint hasn't fully dried as water has an adhesive property? Just my 2 cents.

Which size Blizzaks and which wheels did you go with? Studded or not on the Blizzaks?

I went with the Blizzak LM60. Not an RTF but it has a higher speed rating than the ws70 and came in the OEM 19" size.

I think it is a great snow tire.
