Better than Invoice + 1000 in SoCal Order

Please let me know if you're getting better than Invoice + 1,000 on Socal orders - that's what Amex ZAG is offering but hoping for something closer to 300 + 300 MACO

AMEX/ZAG is offering +1800 in San Diego area. Was quoted today by fleet manager for north LA county dealer +1100, no MACO. Prices seem to be going up. High demand for the X3.

hmm invoice + 500 in Zag NY so hoping it's going to converge...
Does the Zag price already have MACO+training added or is that extra?

EDIT: went to trueprice.com (which looks suspciously the same as zag) and confirmed it includes $500 of MACO in the +$1000. So it's invoice + 500 + 500 of MACO

I "think" it does. ZAG says something to the effect that this is the price you pay. The CA at the dealer nearest to my house told me that they were doing a flat +1500. The ZAG showed me the best dealer at +1800. The mileage distance on ZAG would make it the same dealer. We purchased a car from this dealer before and they charged $300 MACO. They considered the $300 cost part of the invoice. So I'm figuring that they did add MACO in the ZAG quote. I've also have been quoted full MSRP. Maybe I look easy.

This MACO thing is driving me nuts. If it iS $500 MACO + $500 + invoice=$1000 then would it be correct to say that the $500 MACO is included in the invoice price therefore it is $500 over invoice?

Uuugh!!!

@ Silverforumsmurf -Oh and who did you end up ordering or purchasing with in the end? You can PM this to me if you like.

Thanks.

According to my CA every invoice in BMW computer program for cost adds the MACO. Everybody.....stay calm. I'm just relaying what he told me. I was being quoted in the north LA area at about $1080 over invoice, but no mention of MACO. In San Diego my quote was $500 over invoice that included MACO. I think the key here is to ask to see the cost print out and then decide what you are willing to pay.

It's their Marketing and Advertising costs in the invoice, plus another cost for training and service.

That maco thing should be included in the total invoice price. This would be easy to solve if someone could get a printout of an invoice. That is how Ford and Chevy does it anyway. My sales guys gave me a copy of the invoice of the cars that i was looking at.
Have you checked costco? I heard they do $500 over invoice?
