Xeon light

Pick up a 2.0D Mpack, only problem is that it doesn't have XEON head lights my question is.. is it possible to retro fit them in?? i been told dealers won't do it coz of the washer system that comes with the head lights... but i just want the angel eyes!! i dont care abt washer system...

There are plenty of aftermarket conversion kits but since the BMW OEM halogen lamps don't have the correct lens, reflector, mask and auto leveling of the factory HID system, the performance will be very poor (except for the HID color).

If you're going to convert to HID, and want safe headlights that won't offend other drivers, the only "right" way to do it is to change the complete headlight assemblies. In the US, base level 35is come with Xenon HID lights but no headlight washers.

thx for the replay... that was my original plan to get 2 new assemblies and just replaced the whole thing... but been told its illegal here as Xenon HID must have washer.... sigh so much for my excitement.....(and even the swap is not just a simple plug and play)
