Thank you for the bump Chris, very beautiful car. The reason I wanted to see pics is because in your avatar picture which is picture number 3, your front grill looks like it's missing few blades which makes the front looks a little more aggressive, I wonder if anyone can photoshop that look.

You're right, I just noticed that! Must be when I downsized the picture for my avatar (Microsoft's Paint). That's the effect of poor resolution, but it looks pretty good

I'm an American in Switzerland and I swore I would never drive a diesel. I then tried out a 330d and was converted. This is now my 3rd BMW diesel - 330d; 335d, X3 35d - and I can say that, in my opinion, it's the best way to go, especially on large vehicles such as the X3 and above.
Hi, What MPG are you getting?

I drive very positively and get about 26-29.

I gather it can probably do better, but I have a heavy foot...

Hi Horsey, I used to get about 37 mpg but now I'm stuck at around 35 (maybe winter?) I use nothing but Shell V-Power diesel. I'm not really careful with my driving and most people say I also have a lead foot. Half traffic, half autobahn.

Most likely I would have thought...

I ordered mine debadged, because I hate the X3 badge on the rear. I actually quite like the 'X Drive' side badges, but you can't spec these separately and I just looked on eBay and they are £40 each! :O

bought mine used, so debage option wasn't available to me. wondering if there are alignment holes in the bodywork. i really like the clean look, the badges get in the way when detailing, waxing and the like.

I (perhaps naively) assumed it was just a sticker?

Agreed about getting in the way when detailing though.

I'm fairly certain they are stuck on, you can get the templates from a friendly bodyshop for positioning

Thats interesting, templates would certainly be handy... If I can pick up the badges for a good price (I'm not paying £80 for them!) I'll hunt around for them.

Not sure when yours is coming but can you not alter your order?

Order it badged then de-badge it, they are only stuck on.
That way you get the badge included in price, keep them to one side then should you come to sell you can always re-badge it if the new owner requires!
Credit card and a hair dryer to remove!

Ha - well that would have been sensible...

Mine should be built by now, for delivery early June. Nevermind, I'll see what I think when it arrives, I may end up just leaving it!
