CIC Issues!!

Hello everyone, pretty new to the forum and this is my first problem post.
So i recently had the software updated at the dealership and they reset my dvdinmotion ability. I went out today and to unlock the dvdinmotion using the disc i bought from them and I went through all the steps. When it came to reboot, it did but is hasn't rebooted yet. I can hear the cic running but there only a blank screen. I have no controls, no audio no display. I have tried the reboot method (holding the power button for 25 seconds), I've tried disconnection the battery.. but nothing. I can hear the cic running even when i turn off the car. Does anyone know how to reset the cic or ran into this before?

Try holding the volume button till it resets but in order to unlock dvdinmotion you unlock by coding the car.... Unless I didn't know about unlocking it through a DVD

From the forums these software updates are a 50:50 success, staying away!
