Wiper arm position is higher when AUTO is on

Is this a thing fo all F25s (mine is a 2016 LCI)?

So when I set the wipers to AUTO, they sit on park position, higher than when I use them manually, as soon as I turn AUTO off, they go back down.

Anyway, I find that the right wiper am sits too high anyway, it annoys me to see it all the time, I would like for them to sit lower on their park position, but I saw on other X3s that they sit the same way.

On my other car, an X1 F48, it does not do that (higher wiper am position during AUTO) and also they are hidden when not in use.

Here is a video I made just to be clear:

Seems normal to me, but here's the specs for the normally parked position:

thank you, but how about that thing it does, were the wipers sit higher when AUTO is ON, then go back down to full park position, when AUTO is OFF. Is this a feature? I don't see how it helps.

Yup, mine does that. Our former E90 did that too. It was previously explained as a bad relay, but after a while it will go back down on its own even when in AUTO.

My X3 exhibits the same problem too. I don't really notice it so it's not a problem for me. Occasionally, the wiper blades will go up slightly and then back down when I lock the vehicle using Comfort Access (tapping the door handle)
