I installed this a year ago. I have a 2013 f25 x3 that had a 6' screen. Nothing had to be coded and it came with the mounting bracket and all plug and play. I also with the new system I was able to add a forward / rear DVR camera as well as backup camera. Works with Idrive you don't lose any Idrive functionality

Avinusa.com, i recommend watching you tube videos by the BMW DIYGUY. Avin is all plug and play, videos are very helpful.

I am very happy with the Android unit. I also did a complete upgrade to my sound system with a bavsound system
