Hey thrill for what its worth, try to find a car around w/ the fineline wave wood.. I had the black leather w/ sienna on order until i finally sat in one w/ the wave, and its 'less strange' that it looks in most photos. Then i sat in a sienna finished interior and thought it was too light.... but, i still think it looks pretty good...... i probably just stressed u out a little bit more now didn't I?

currently in production w/ space gray 28, blk nev leather, wave wood, prem pkg, tech pkg, sport pkg, prem. sound.

I think the Siena is too light as well and I was thinking about changing back to the finelinewave wood before it's too late. Was going to ask people's opinions here. Wish the Siena was stained just a little darker....it would look so much better and less "cheap". I'll have aged 10 years through this process!!

i think you should go dark, im making the decision for you... you have ample lightness in the mineral silver... lets go lush inside. do it.

The wave brown with black leather is better than the other with black leather.

I was not a fan of either woods, so I ordered the brushed aluminum. My husband has the brushed aluminum in his car, so I know what it will look like.

Get the wave...it's not such a harsh contrast and I think it looks more expensive too.

I have a black leather interior with the aluminum trim in my '09 Murano and while it looks good, it just makes me feel like I am driving a less expensive car. Does that makes sense? I paid $32,000 for the Murano with the same trim BMW is offering so it just feels wrong to me not to have something nicer. Maybe I wouldn't feel this way if my vehicle didn't have that trim now. It does look nice though!

It’s all a matter of personal taste. There’s no “right” answer.
I went with the Fineline Siena wood because I have the Chestnut leather and thought the darker wood would make the cabin a little too monotone on the dark side, but that’s just MY taste. To each his or her own.

They could have offered a wider choice of trims.

My husband has gray interior, so it blends well. I am nervous now, because I ordered black interior with the brushed aluminum. Hopefully, it looks good. The car itself is titanium silver, so I thought it would all blend well together. If I ever get my car, I will let you know what I think. The woods just did not appeal to me. I saw examples of both and thought it looked like cheap, fake wood (like when someone tells you they have new wood floors and you get to their house and it's obviously that fake stuff). I just hope I do not regret my decision. My husband even told me after I ordered the wood looked more luxurious. Too late to change my mind now though as my car has been ready and in VPC status for almost three weeks.

I think the aluminum looks great with the black, but since I just came from that in the Murano, I passed on it. I agree that the woods look "fake". My husband actually thought it was plastic made to look like wood when we did the test drive. The darker stain looks like zebra waves and the lighter one is well, just too light! I don't think you have anything to worry about!
