Approaching 50K miles Spark Plugs & Ignition Coils?

Hello all, my F25 is approaching 50K mile mark, I used to have an E90 330i that when it hit 55k miles 2 ignition coils died and I was SOL on the the shoulder lane of the highway waiting for the tow truck. Should I get ahead of this and buy the ignition coils and spark plugs? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I was thinking of

Bosch 15092214-0221504470 - Ignition Coil; With Spark Plug Connector

and then the

NGK 12120037663 - Spark Plug; OE Plug; LZFR6AP-11GS.

Use this part number 12 13 8 616 153. This is for the Delphi ignition coil which is improved from the Bosch coil and is what BMW now recommends. And yes, I would replace the coils and spark plugs. In fact I just did on my 2011 28i at 55,000 miles.

Considering my coil part number is not the same as your spark plug part number I think not
I can guarantee the number I gave you is for the improved Delphi coil.

NGK are weak plugs especially if you plan to add the exhaust or tune your car =D
Get Bosch / S55 plugs http://www.ebay.com/itm/171678116479

Delphi one is "DELPHI GN10571"
looks to be around $40 each in usd or $47 each in cad as per rock auto.

Why pay $40 each when you can get better (colder) plugs S55 (M3/M4) that fits N20 ?
And for less!

All tuned N20's are most likely S55 plugs too because the NGK (hot) stock ones can't handle the ECU Flash constant delivery.

Hasn't been reported the stock N55 plugs required changing yet.
The N20 plugs have been an issue with 99% of ECU Flash cars though.
