I went cat back so no ECU programming needed. But now thinking to replace the down pipe as well. Down pipe supposedly gives +20 hp. Supersprint appears to do a lot of R&D and dyno testing on their products so stated performance gains are most likely legit.

Looks great, did you just cut the rear bumper valence on the right side to allow for the extra tips or was there an additional piece to buy along with the exhaust?

A superb example of a customised job done tastefully and to enhance the car. Unfortunately those low profile wheels / tyres would not be very suitable for the roads in Scotland. Potholes and high kerbs would no doubt lead to them being wrecked in no time at all.

Burgertuning has a performance intake for the X3 now. Thinking about picking one up with the JB4 Stage 1. Great job on your X3. Looks fantastic and I'm sure the performance matches. I wish there was more out there for the X3. Maybe we'll see some M Performance parts soon.

Just bought the intake and the JB4. Approx 60hp for less than $600. Not bad.

I can't wait to hear your feedback. These engines are already purported to be underrated, as the 35i is a bonafide sleeper out of the box. With tune and intake I'm sure it's on another level

Looks great with the lowering! How is the ride with the Eibachs? Are they much harder than the m-sport springs?

hey, can we keep this thread alive?
i have a few mods coming up within the next month or two (just waiting for the worst of winter to pass) looking to do the following: - H&R or Eibach springs - 20in wheels running 255 and 285 tires (hopefully the fit..) - Supersprint exhaust - black grille - 35 tints on sides - JB4 mod Jan/Feb time frame.

Hey OP can you post a video of how your quad exhaust sounds with your tune?
mge.92 also has the supersprint quad exhaust though i would rather get downpipe since it adds more sound than the supersprint by itself.

I'm going to move forward with a SuperSprint exhaust for my X3 35i. Since I'm only doing the muffler and tips I was leaning towards the racing muffler. I want it to be more pronounced but not obnoxious. I'm concerned the performance muffler will not be enough sound thrill. Would you care to comment on this please? My dealer is going to do it for me. They are expecting about 3 hours time. Does the rear bumper need to be removed to make a good cut out with the angle grinder?
