Key Fob F25 v LC1
Can a LC1 owner advise what the keyfob looks like please, my F25 fob only has 3 buttons (unlock, lock (bmw badge) and unlock boot). I have a case for my fob but not sure if the LC1 is different in size and whether or not I need to purchase a new fob case when the new car arrives

The key fob for for my 2016 X3 (US) has four buttons: unlock, lock (BMW roundel), unlock boot and panic button. It looks like the key fob in the video linked below:

thanks for the reply, looks like the boot unlock button is smaller on the new keyfob to make way for the panic button but at least the overall size is the same so my current fob case should be fine

We don't seem to get the panic button in the UK - both of our LCI's have had the 3 button remotes

Every BMW I have purchased in the US in the last 15 years has come with two fobs. No extra cost for the second one.
