Hi,

I've spent the past couple of hours looking up DIY instructions to replace a headlight assembly on the driver's side of a 2011 X3 (Halogen) - base model without any luck. Would anyone know of any resources that might be helpful?

I found one for an E83 that involved taking off the front bumper - is this required for the F25 as well?

Yes, front bumper needs to be dropped to access the screws holding in the bottom of the lamp assembly.

I have not found a DIY I was gonna do this to do a clear lens swap but found out the headlights couldn't be opened. If you look at pictures of the part on realoem you'll see bolts that are only accessible if the bumper is off. How to get the bumper off... That's the question
