Taking Delivery This Week
So I've just received word from the dealership. My car is in transit and should be here by Friday. Thank god BMW stepped up and ordered me a new one but it sucked to have to wait another 5 weeks, not to mention the total of 11 weeks that my first order spent at the service department.
So it's out with the old, and in with the new. I'll post pics when I get the car. The new spec is fully loaded: 2011 BMW X3 xDrive35i Black sapphire metallic Style 309 19" wheels with all seasons Black Nevada leather Fineline wave wood trim Sports activity package Premium package Technology package Dynamic handling package Cold weather package Convenience package Heads up display Smartphone integration BMW apps Premium hi-fi surround sound Automatic High Beams I CAN'T WAIT Last edited by xDrive35i; 07-26-2011 at 01:39 AM.. |

very nice, like the uni-color look inside and out.
At what point of the production cycle did your production video become available? Hope the delivery goes well... |

Tracking Info
I posted this on another thread but I found the website of the shipping company responsible for Bavarian Motor Transport.
The company is called Precision Motor Transport Group They claim to provide 24/7 customer vehicle tracking service, but their customer login is down. If the site were working, you would have to create an account and provide the last seven digits of your VIN which you can get from your dealership if your car has completed production. Here's the customer login link. Try it out, and let me know if it works for you. |

The all season rubber floor mats aren't really a priority even though I live in Chicago. The garagemen in my building wash and vacuum the carpeted mats once a week, so if they're dirty it's never for long. |

I just called BMWNA today because I still can't access my video that I got back at the beginning of July. I was told they are still having video feed problems and are working on getting things up and running again. She did say that the video is not a lost cause so *fingers crossed*. Has anyone received any working video's lately??

I just set all presets as they were before. It took about 15 minutes but I'm all good now. The 309s are much better than the 308s I had before. The road feel is more direct and the whole ride is in my opinion smoother and more connected than the 535 loaner I had for the past 5 or so weeks. I'm so happy to have my X3 "back." It was worth the wait.
