Help
Anybody can help me? My 2yrs old son locked the key in my 2004 X3, any ideas how to open without the spear key? Thanks

Plain and simple no way to do it. I did this while packing me stuff to catch a flight the other key was in another state we had to go in the other car without any of our stuff. BMW assist cant open either, call up your local BMW dealership it will cost around 200 something I think, unless you want to brake whatever the cheapest window is to replace and climb in.

I agree there is no way. If it was newer.... and you still had BMW Assist active.... they could do it remotely but the service wasn't available on any 2004 BMW's.
The dealer can get you a new key with just the VIN but it takes a day or two. You will have to show proof of ownership. The only other way is to break a window. The ones that roll up and down are the cheapest to buy and replace. Just in case you have to......... Sorry. |

just locked my key in 2005 x3. AAA/locksmith was able to open. He got lucky.
Was able to hit the lock release on the dash w a tool he slipped in thru passenger side window. |
