2014 X3 Timing Chain Issues
MY wife took her X3 in and paid BMW $6,000 for repairs and then after getting it back, less than 200 miles later the engine now needs to be replaced. I will get what work they did tomorrow as well as what they now say is the problem. But for now they're saying that its 2 different situations and they aren't on the hook for repairing it.
Does BMW not warranty their work? If anyone has been in a similar situation, please let me know how it was resolved and the best solution to getting it fixed. thanks In advance (will update with more asap) |

Until you provide the exact details for this story, people can only guess a solution, but for now, I'll assume the work they did was not related to the failure. You didn't mention an engine model |

well I was hoping its all related. if it is, do they have a "warranty" for their work?
Do they have many jobs besides the timing chain on the motor that costs 6,000$? thanks for the welcome and reply |
