NEW 12 X3 28i owner

Hey all, picking up a 12 X3 28i with 68K on it. Nice update from my 01 Bravada, BIG update.
Heard the usual problems and needed PM on this rig. Am very mechanically inclined , so.... I can do a lot of it myself.
Will start with plugs, AT filter and fluid, F & R diff fluid, T case fluid.
If the oil filter housing is leaking, Ill do it ! I know it needs a T stat !

Will check for all new updates. Will check the recall for the vanos bolts.
It has new NON Run flat tires, yeah.
Have read a hundred posts on maintenance, and wow... nice to find knowledgeable guys like you all to help with PM, and DIY's.

My 05 E46 is a breeze to work on, hope the N52 is the same, looks like it is also very workable.

N52 is a proven engine, well except for the recent vanos bolts recall. I got my notice a month or so ago but no fix yet. 190K miles on my 2011 oil change every 5000 miles and handed down to our daughter. Car still runs/drives/ looks amazing…

Also replace the plastic Mickey Mouse coolant fitting.
