On my 2013 F25 X3 my present version is ( CIC I think ):-
VERSION ECE / BMW GROUP / 101131.2.11 / Road Map Europe / Premium 2014-1.
Is there an upgrade available i.e. 2014-2 yet or would it be best to wait till a 2015 version arrives?

Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2014-1 is the latest release. You have to wait.

Bought 2012 X3 5 weeks ago and complaned to dealer that maps were out of date (2011 version). He said that they were not obliged to sell car with up to date maps!! As I do not want to pay BMW sky high prices can you send me details of this upgrade? Thanks.

I'm writing here for the first time, and my english is not very good...

Road Map Europe MOVE 2010

My navigation system is business type with 6,5?'' display, no HDD and a USB port in the central arm-rest.
I have never updated the maps and I have no idea about how to do it (hope it is easy and free). I'm doubtful about upgrading 'cos I've no experience.
Can you please PM me the necessary info?

It is available for download now for anyone interested in updating their Europe or North American maps to 2014-1 version. This is a 3 USB Thumb Drive version that requires 3 each 8 GB or larger Fat32 Formatted USB Thumb Drives. It can also be done with a single 8 GB USB Thumb Drive, although it is not the preferred method.

For those with pre 09/2009 builds, you can make 3 Double Layer Double Density Drives instead and install it from DVD Drive.

You will of course to need to purchase an FSC Code as always to install it, but your net cost will be 80% less than ordering Online, and even > 80% less than what the dealership charges.

I downloaded the MOVE 2014 maps into a pendrive and I was curious to see if the installation can start (without any code...); so I calcelled installation without to continue it, but now my nav Always ask me for a code to begin navigation and doesn't work anymore.....
