X3 dash material ?

Looking at detailing the car properly today and wondered what the X3 dash is made out of ?

I don't know whether to use a rubber protector or plastic protector ?

The BMW X3 dashboard material is a synthetic polymer. It may be made of Sensatec or other synthetic polymer composition. It is not made of rubber.
