I have a 2011 x28i with OEM hitch installed….the detachable one. For any X3 owners that have the OEM 2” Trailer Hitch Receiver Tube…..what kind of Ball Mount are you using? My local Auto parts place only have ones that are about 10” from Hitch pin to ball mount and harbor freight option is 12”???since the receiver already comes up and out a bit, I was wondering what you might be using.

EDIT*** I have answered my own question , the ball mount can be lo longer than 8” Pin to Ball per BMW
