Jason, where are the interior pics of the m-sport? The way the pics flow it appears the interior ones go after the white m-sport but they are not the m-sports. People are getting confused. lol

Thanks for the early pics

The m-sport looks so much better.

I like it...now just to wait until the diesel engine comes with M-sport (with anthracite headliner) and I will be set.

I am guessing right around LCI it will all come together.

Sorry, that was just the way that I uploaded the photos. The interior pics are from the non M-sport X3. The interior wasn't available for viewing on the M-sport X3.

Wow, I thought (and posted) the same thing...

Thanks for clarifying, I thought to myself surely those are not "sport" seats...

I hope they have more options for wood choices as that wavy wood does not look good at all. It looks like they changed the silver front and rear bumper pieces from the original pictures on the non M Sport package and they look like a big improvement.

The M Sport package looks good, not sure if I like the black roof rails and lack of chrome around windows, but it is growing on me. It would look better with dual exhaust and even more awesome with quad exhaust.

"Shadow trim" is an important part of the M sport package.
If you want chrome around the windows, simple, don't order the M Sport package.

For BMW, ///M comes with less chrome on the car, which is just what I like. (no bling bling)

It looks further apart from cars that are covered with cheap plastic chrome parts.

I-6's don't need Quad Exhausts IMO...

Not a huge fan of 335i's split duals myself, the 535i doesn't have split duals, no surprise (to me) to NOT find them on the next x3.

I agree, at least save the quad exhaust tips for cars with ///M badges on the trunk lids....

The interior shots are from the 20d. Not the 35i M-Sport.

The 2011 F10 535 has split duals. Maybe you were talking about the E60 535?

It's only one small part of the package so why give up on the entire package?

Why limit one's self to not ordering the M Sport when one can order the M Sport package and add the chrome around the windows again. Everything is not black and white, there is a lot of grey in between. To each his own. Glad we all have different tastes and the many options available to satisfy them.

I agree 100%. It adds more weight and can decrease performance. Plus its more expensive to manufacture so aftermarket exhausts cost more then.

Then why does a 335i have dual exhaust? It doesn't decrease the performance of my 335i having dual exhaust.

Quad pipes add minimal weight to a dual exhaust and has no performance hit what so ever. Quad pipes are just for looks, but I know they have so far been reserved for the M series. Maybe the dual exhaust on the 335i is just for looks as well to distinguish it from the 328i? I think the X3 3.5 should have dual exhaust to distinguish it from the X3 2.8 as well and especially with the M Sport Package to emphasize the Sport look.

Also the dual exhaust on my E39 540i never had to be replace in the 11 years I had that car, so replacement costs were never an issue.
