When the lease expired on our old X3 a couple of years ago, my wife went on mommymobile strike and insisted she pick the next car for herself. Her choice was a Mini Cooper S. (Not bad, but not very practical.)

With an E90 M3 and the MCS, there were lots of times I wished we had something bigger.

The X3 is mine. Problem solved.

I'm not married. I bought it for me. It has replaced my '08 335XI coupe and my '03 FX45. It seems to offer the best of both.

Bought it for the twins and the dog! Just had twin boys last Saturday so I guess it's for the little men and a furry girl.

X6 looks fantastic and is supposed to handle great, but the more radical slope on the rear is not good for my dogs. Price is too rich for my blood too.
