didn't try this function at the dealership. tried many times after bringing it home but i have kicked my car enough without successfully opening the tail gate. My X3 is not a M-sport ( i know that it doesn't work for M-sport). I am planning to go to the dealership next week and check it out.

Did you order comfort access? If not you don't thave the foot sweep option.
