Want to upgrade to halo ring/angel eyes - am I limited?

I'm looking to upgrade my 2014 x3 to have the halo ring/angel eyes look. I took it into a shop today and they told me that I don't have the correct "casing" for it where I could have just a ring of light.

Question is - do I have any options for getting the halo ring without changing out the entire casing? If not, does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket casings that aren't like a grand?

Overall, I'm not a big fan the yellow tint bulb thats just in the middle of my light right now - would love to be able to upgrade!

Retrofit angel eyes

Hi, there is one good overview out there in case you like to switch the entire housing:

There are also a number of US and Europe based companies that are selling used Xenon or LED headlights, however it seems very prudent to look up the parts numbers, I found the 'variety' of what is being offered quite confusing.
I also found a tuning company that sells a retrofit version for the X3 prior to the 2014 facelift:

To get the angel's eye rings without changing the entire housing there are a couple of folks out there that have split open the housing and installed an LED or fiber optic ring:

Also a number of companies are offering whiter and brighter halogen light bulbs, in case you just want to get away from the more yellow halogen color. A number of users reported, that those replacement light bulbs get hotter and therefore the plastic reflector over time starts to crumple. Also the MTBF of those bulbs seems to be in comparison lower.

Hope this helps.
