LCI software dropping functions

I love my Oct build LCI, it's more refined in many ways vs my pre-LCI but....when the Nav is guiding me and I'm playing music from a memory stick I find sometimes functions are dropped or simply won't work until a restart. What I've noticed doesn't work :

- low temp (<=3C) warning
- passenger seat belt warning
- reduce music level when Nav giudance is spoken
- headlamp washers

Either the software decided to drop these so the Nav still works or there's a memory leak / other software issue. I'll contact my dealer after the holiday season to check if these are known problems and whether there is an update available.

Has anyone else noticed this type of behaviour?

Did you update the software? There's one available. That might help.

Get it here. Link to web page

I have a LCI model built on September and all the four small features / issues listed above by clivem2 are working quite Ok, so they are not dropped (at least not from my car). Perhaps clivem2 you have kind of a real problem in your car or could it perhaps be depended on the selected features and options?

The software updates picked up by gc3 are dealing only with communication and media related features so I don't think they help with issues listed by clivem2. But anyway it is good to update your media/communications features using the latest version available there. I have updated my car now once with packet provided in the BMW Software update service site
