Mog Music Service - Very (!) Good
For those that have the BMW Apps feature I'd suggest you check out the $10/Month Mog service.
Basically anything you'd want to listen to you can find, the integration into my '13 X3 35 is very good, and the sound quality is far better that Satellite or Pandora (both of which pretty much suck). I'd never heard of it until I saw that it was a feature of BMW Apps. Also, for those that have the Awesome Sonos home system for music streaming, your Mog account works there too. Just wanted to pass this on...(I don't work for them, honest!). |

I would recommend everyone try it out for the free month. I am sure you won't be disappointed. If you have Sonos, that's even more of a reason to get it with more value added for no more money. |

w/o BMW apps you cannot skip from the steering wheel controls or the buttons on the center console. I think you can with BMW apps but am not able to test that.
Streaming music takes a lot less data than you might think. If you're using it all day at work or something, might have a problem, but just during commute hasn't been a big deal.

I have the BMW Apps...I can't figure out skipping from the steering wheel. I've gotten songs to show up on the console display (sometimes), but can't seem to skip for return.

When you spin the thumb wheel, do you see a song name in the middle and triangle shaped arrows above and below for forward and back? If so, select and click those. If they don't show up I'd guess you have to use the track forward and back buttons on the center console.
