There seems to be confusion about the xLine seats. The Mocca and black xLine interior pics on the BMW USA site show the upper seating surface with a nice looking one inch wide (approximately) stripe. Pics of the other color seats show a plain seating surface. Does yours have the stripe?

Unfortunately.... Nothing on seats.... Just normal non sport seats.

I can tell by his pics he didn't go with the real leather and went with the leatherette which could explain that.

As far as I know, only Nevada White, Black and Moccha have the special stamping on the seats. Other colors don't.

Go to http://www.bmwusa.com and build an xLine X3. Choose mocca or black for the interior color, and you should see the stripe. Choose another color and you will not.

BMW makes some bizarre (and stupid) marketing decisions.
