Front License Plate install
is there a video and recommended license plate mounting kit for installing a bracket to the front?
I live in a state that requires a front license plate, but bought the car from a state that does NOT require a front license plate. I did not see a front tow hook, so I'm afraid I'll have to drill. thx |

Never seen or looked for video for installing one, though simply drill holes to match the fastener size. You should get a BMW holder that's specific to your vehicle.
I'd use 3M 2-way trim tape to mount it if you don't want to drill holes. All BMWs have a tow hook cover, look harder. |

yeah, I found it - hidden behind the corner of the plastic. but don't want to place the plate there, as it would block that front camera/sensor. I found some 3M 2way tape - thx. |

I'd specifically use 3M VHB tapes. It's a semi-permanent tape that will even hold in high heat conditions. You'll see them in stores as Scotch Mount Extreme. The typical white double sided tape will fall off.
Just in case, here's a link to the tape residue removal procedures. https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/...h-bulletin.pdf
