Jumper Cables
I always keep a set of jumper cables in my car - so I'm curious to see if there is a preferred or required brand/type/gauge that should be used with an X3?
thanks! |

There's nothing special about the X3 or BMW for that matter that requires certain type of jumper cables. Any good quality 4AWG with solid copper jaws will work perfectly.

I have started ditching jumper cables and instead only carrying a small Li-ion jump pack in each car. Takes up less room and no need for a second vehicle. I bring in the house and charge each one once or twice a year whether they need it or not.
I am smitten with the Audew brand after a few YouTube videos on them and my personal experience. I have a few of two different sizes. Only warning I have is don’t trust the percentage remaining display. Just charge after every time you use it. -Mike |

i like to keep the cables in case I need to help others too (which I've needed on more than one occasion). so maybe having both would help. |
