Lightbulb 2014 X3 3.5 M-Sport **Re-Order** Begins today!

I did not accept the loaded X3 that I ordered as it arrived missing the camera package. I have reordered and received a production number today, so now the wait commences again. Hopefully it will not be a terribly long wait, really went pretty fast last time. My declined X3 hit the production line on the 25th and was at the dealer exactly one month later, on the 25th. The previous order was supposed to have the lighter Sienna Wood, but it arrived with the wave trim.

Here is what my next arrival will look like, fingers crossed, upon arrival nothing will be wrong (seriously knock on wood)

-Alpine White Exterior
-Oyster Nevada Interior Leather
-Fineline Sienna Light Wood Trim
-Satin Roofline Rails with Satin Aluminum Window Trim
-Technology Package featuring the Black Panel Display and Heads-up
-Driver Assistance Package with Top View and Rear View / PDC
-Cold Weather Package with Front and Rear Seat Warmers
-Dynamic Handling Package
-M Sport Package with 19" M Style Wheels
-Premium Package
-Premium HiFidelity Sound

I am very excited for the arrival of this new 2014 X3. With hope, all goes well and the new X3 will arrive without peril.

I loved my previous black X3 3.5i and after test driving the X3 with Dynamic Handling, that is a must have package, really you need to order this car loaded because for the price, why leave off something helpful like a camera package.

Wish me luck,
-Rob

Did you get to keep the other one until you get the new?

I usually get the tire warranty, because you can have most of it refunded to you if you do not use it within the first few years, but I am not going to buy the extended warranties anymore.

I put my own warranty program together, I opened a high yield money market account that bears enough interest (can you believe it today?), the interest I use to pay for unexpected issues like tires and other maintenance items.

For me, it doesn't make sense to buy the extra warranties because I have 3 fairly new BMW's, at the point one becomes bothersome, I would replace it.

My plans now are to order the GT550 to replace my 550i sedan after this X3 arrives and I am going to replace my X5M with a 750i or 750li, not sure yet.

I really like the new navigation system, it's absolutely fantastic and I want all of my cars to have that.

Love the build! You're gonna love it!

Just a heads up, it's X3 35i, rather than 3.5i. The engine is actually a 3.0 liter.

I guess you won't be asking time line, this time.

I'm close to ordering an X3 with the same packages and options, but I'm in Georgia. What kind of price did you get?
I'm interested in the discount you got.
I'm thinking Red exterior with Mohave Leather. But my wife has a 2011 328i in Deep Sea Blue with Grey interior. It looks awesome but she's calling me a copy cat if I get the DSB. I also like the black on black. What to do, what to do!!!
Sigh

We took delivery of a white on white non M 35i and the oyster looks very nice. Really like the black rugs with it rather than a tan/tan. Mrs thought the combo was very "snazzy" and chestnut and the blue was her runner-up.

UPDATE!
My X3 is now "at the dealer" it arrived over the weekend. I can not pick it up until the end of the week though because somehow someone made a mistake and misplaced the extra key and the other key is locked inside the vehicle. Im pretty disappointed but I guess a few more days (to wait for a new key to arrive) really wont matter in the grand scheme of things.

It's only been three months after all! The first order that I rejected was missing a backup camera, at least the keys can be replaced easily.....

Hey osxcode, couldn't someone from the dealership just call bmw and have them unlock the remotely? Enjoy the wait.

That was the first thing they tried. Vehicle can not receive signals until after it is out of transit mode and has been through PDI... and yes, I will figure out some way to enjoy the wait

Smile It is Here!

It really takes about a Month from Start to finish to buy a US made BMW and have it shipped to California. Here are some preliminary pictures of my new 2014 X3 35i M-Sport with all the packages. This is the correct order and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I am so pleased that I went with the lighter wood, it looks great with the Oyster Leather interior

Ill post better pictures later. I told the dealer not to touch the interior at all, so all plastics and coverings were left installed. I am so happy right now.

Oh yeah, as I posted a few days ago, they lost one of my keys and the key turned up, so now I have the two original keys and the extra they ordered. I don't have to worry about a key to my vehicle floating around anymore!

2014 BMW X3 35i M-Sport, not 3.5i dude. The engine is a 3.0 liter, not 3.5, so having 3.5 in your sig makes no sense.
