Quick question,i have been to see dealers today and told my car would be ready for collection on 28/29th of december so i said wait till 2015 to register it but he tried to tell me if i wanted it a few days later the price would go up by £300 can they do this !!!!
I told him i didnt want it if the price went up and he said fine and is willing to cancel order but to wait till 22nd to see if it is delayed in anyway and bmw will pick up the £300 its got me a bit baffled,Has anyone any ideas what is going on

Sounds to me like someone has end of year targets to hit.. assume that is why dealers pre-reg cars for sale. They dont get credit till the registration is done..

I think the dealer is taking the P

You could just say "I'm away for the new year" .. And collect it when you come back

You will have a signed order with an agreed price which protects you from any post order price rises .. So if they try to put the price up the first stop dealer principal the bmw Uk then trading standards.

I'd play hardball with them and I bet they back down ... But it will really sour your experience... My nature would be to tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine though !

But what date is on your order form ? If it's January your laughing

This was my first Auto - and I will never willingly buy a manual ever again.
Magic and marvellous just dont describe how good it is - and if I want to go manual I just push it left!

My mate has had autos for years in Mercs & BMWs and says mine is the best he has every tried. Said I would be foolish not to get an auto and he would have been right.

Anybody know if any of Spec enhancements coming in January to other models are likely to filter into the X3?

I only ask as I'm
About to enter my second calendar year since ordering

Ordered May - no sign that it will arrive early Jan given that Christmas is now upon us.

OK here you go.

One's taken of the interior aren't particularly representative the one I've included is the closest colourwise. Others look a lot lighter than in reality. Exterior colour shade is in my opinon fairly close. Seats are Mocha, centre panel is copper. Will post some better photos when I get the chance. Came with 308 style wheels, but didn't get the chance to take photo before they were changed to my winter wheels, but liked the look of them.

Happy so far after a 100 ml motorway trip. Most noticeable difference is that it is quiter under power than the pre-LCI. Need to get used to the features I've added before commenting.

Loving the 305's ... first time I've seen them on melbourne red and I'm really, really happy with my options now. Still wish xline had been an option available to me but in the long run I'm sure the xenons and pro nav are a good trade off.
