DINANTRONICS Performance Tuner Description

The DINANTRONICS Performance Tuner is a highly engineered and sophisticated piece of computer hardware and software that enhances engine performance, without negating or voiding your new car warranty coverage and without affecting long term reliability or the functionality of on-board diagnostic systems. It was also designed to be emissions legal in 50 states (E.O. Pending). The ultimate objective of developing this piece of technology was to provide the ability to control every signal entering and exiting the BMW factory Engine Control Unit. These items are unique to Dinan and together they embody the apex of performance engineering in a powerful, reliable, and warrantied package.

Was going to post a thread but it appears I was beaten to it....

In the Toronto area, our dealers would be Budd's BMW (both stores) and Lash Technologies depending on if you wanted to go through a dealership or an independent.

Also thought I might as well post the performance graphs for easy access.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

I'll be in on this before too long, although for the life of me I can't figure out why my existing 300 horsepower doesn't satisfy my real needs...

That's great news!

Budd's has a great reputation in the Greater Toronto Area.

How does the Stage one kit impact the BMW drivetrain warranty (engine, transmission, differentials, etc.)?

Time to start saving...

Woohoo!

I will double check with the engineers on Monday when they are back in the office but I believe the 2013 model should be covered. May have been an error in the paperwork that for some reason only listed the 14-15 models or maybe there was a random variable that does make it incompatible but I can't think of one. I will follow-up on that and post on Monday.

It doesn't. Dinan offers a factory matching 4yr/50k mile new car warranty. Essentially you have 2 warranties running concurrently. If for some reason BMW NA denies a warranty claim saying it was due to a Dinan product, we will take care of it. Bottom line is you will never get stuck with a bill on a warranty claim.

If you have any specific questions I am sure Budd's can answer them or you can call us directly as well.

2013 X3 28i xDrive (N20) is compatible. Website was just wrong on not listing that additional year on that one.

Who's the dealer? Likely that we will have to get the additional bracket kit to them to make their stock cleanly compatible but if they are stocking the boxes they technically are ready minus a couple brackets in mounting. Regardless, usually when an appointment is scheduled its a few days out, plenty of time to get the brackets out before the actual install.

I think I'm going to have to follow up the installation of this unit with the purchase of an advanced laser jammer and radar detector custom install....
