Anxiously Awaiting Delivery !!

On February 28th I attended the showroom of Toronto BMW and placed an order for a 2015 BMW X3. I am a first time BMW buyer who anxiously awaits delivery of his new vehicle.

I am excited about the order and anticipate delivery in late May. I've been advised by the dealer that BMW is in the midst of switching model year and that its very likely that a 2016 rather than a 2015 will be delivered. They won't know for sure for another week or two.

While awaiting delivery I will be reading through this forum in order to learn more about the X3 and, perhaps about changes that are expected to be delivered in the 2016 model line.

Welcome! What did specs did you get?

Also anxiously awaiting! Train supposedly rolled in over the weekend (2 hours south of here) so hoping maybe it makes it to the dealer today or tomorrow. CA told me he thought they would have it yesterday (Sunday) but nothing yet.

I order Mineral White Metallic finish with Saddle Brown interior and Gloss Dark Copper Trim. The order included all options except LED headlights. I'm told by the SA that given the date of my order a 2016 rather than a 2015 may be delivered. If that's the case then according to the MY2016 Guide LED headlights will be included in one of the revised option packages I selected. Nice!!

I'm right on 10 weeks too - ordered Jan 6 and delivery could happen any day now. Been texting all day w/ my CA, he thought it would come in today. They got 8 cars and none were mine.

He said system updated and now says tomorrow...not holding my breath!

Just ordered my new 2016 X3 x drive 28i this morning, Alpine white, saddle interior, cold weather package, premium package, driver assist package, and xenons. Trading in my X1, which is a great car, but just a tad small. Hope I like the 3 as much as the 1.
