My car is 13 and with 25000KM on, and both front rotors look like rusty and the surface are rough. Went to dealership and inquire with SA, he said it due to not driving much, so will need for service and might need to replace, as they don't machine the rotor.

Never have a car saying driving less that will create problem like that. sounds like if you drive less shouldn't get a BMW??? LOL

that looks terrible, i would push for warranty! i know we have harsh winter here but that's like manufacture defects.

edit: which dealership did you use? our x3 2011 35i has only 43-44k km and gone through more winters than your x3, that's NOT normal.

Yes, they are quite bad. Also after winter the rim hub are stuck due to the rust at the rotors, and I will have to hit the wheels out. seems like German don't have snow like us!

Never got a vehicle like that, is kind of scary!
