Read my reviews and rants about Macan Vs X4. Dude I promise if you can cancel your Macan you will be happy.. Spend more time in the Macan before you take it home.. There are so many things you will dislike.. Just the seat comfort is enough to make you the it along with 30 other things they did wrong. Be prepared for the alarm to go off all by itself at anytime. Really think about it.. The Sq5 is the better of the macan as well and much nicer and same price or less. I loved my sq5 |

UNBELIEVABLE improvement, how much was the X4 lowered, I'm considering getting the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs E10-20-024-02-22 kit but this only lowers the X4 by 20mm.

Hi,
Had my X4 35d lowered using H&R Springs 28926-1 for BMW X3 F25 X3 + X3 M40i X4 F26 incl X4 M40i, they say drop by 35mm but at this stage it's more like 25mm front/back, it's only been 3 days so hopefully it will drop at least another 5mm. The X4 looks much better, looks more like a car coupe rather than a TRUCK coupe. Had wheel alignment done today, rear wheels where out a lot but expected, after alignment wheels are pretty much back at standard for toe/camber. Got the springs from TunerShop, best price I could find and even didn't have to pay import duties or GST to Australia. Ride is only slightly firmer but I found original springs to be a little bouncy, cornering is far superior with H&R. Cheerz |

Do you have standard BMW Suspension, Sport suspension, or M Adaptive suspension?

If that is listed on your spec sheet...then you have MAdaptive suspension.

I disagree. Adaptive suspension is not the same as Dynamic suspension. I didn't appreciate the difference and had a lengthy email exchange with BMWNA. Suposedly, the Dynamic Suspension will adapt on its own when needed (cornering), whereas the Adaptive suspension can be manipulated through buttons in the cockpit. AFAIK, the 1st generation X4 does not have Adaptive suspension as an option.

Hi,
No issue as such with my 2016 F26 X4 35d's S223A Dynamic Damping Control suspension but I do notice a slight noise at the front right drivers side mainly when I first start off, it's sounds more like a bump than a clunk. The noise isn't there all the time and I'm not really aware of it when I go over road speed bumps, it's just there every now and then, I notice mainly at speed below 20 Kph. Cheerz |
