Look like the standard X3 xLine 607 y-spoke alloy wheels, I've gone for if I ever see them

What do you mean Andy ? You ordered the same , no ?

These wheels are standard for the X Line . Like Sparky says: Y spoke alloys type 607 , it's 18 inch.

Apart from that I will get a set wintertires for free, type
17" V-Spoke 304.

These 18 inch wheels are standard for the X Line, in German they are called:

18"Leichtmetallräder Y-Speiche 607 mit Notlaufeigenschaften. Like Sparky says: Y spoke alloys.

I know I know I was referring back to "wheel gate" .. Going back a while I know but lots of Xlines were turning up on the wrong wheels and there was/wasn't problems with supplies of 607 wheels depending on who you spoke too !

I think bounderboy and Cumbrian lad on here were victims of BMWs incompetence with these wheels

I certainly think that one of the delays on xline cars was the non availability of the 607 wheels

Allegedly mine has the 607s .. But I'll know for sure when I see it !

ah yes, I have read something about those wheels in some older posts. I think the 607 look very nice. Now the only thing I am wondering about is the outside mirrors. Do they fold in electric or not ? I didn't order it, for I assumed it was standard, as my good old Renault has all these features without extra charge...... stupid thinking maybe ?

What a blow – that’s unforgiveable. Am not sure about the “probably” which seems they don’t care too much and didn’t bother even investigating. I am pretty convinced each stage of progress is available to them internally on the status code of the vehicle, and if they bothered, could look it up.

Congratulations - it's nearly home. Re mirrors, depends on the standard spec which varies from country to country. In UK, I believe it is an extra option on the X-line and certainly worthwhile, especially here where parking space widths are the same as they were in the 1960s!

No topical me always saying I'll do something but never do. If the BMW guy was right and it's waiting to load onto the ship Indpendance 11 sails tomorrow and gets to Southampton on 25th April which fits in with what he said.
