M47 engine with fault 4175 exhaust temp sensor fault

Hi.

I have had a problem for a few days where I lose power at 2,000 revs in any gear. I was told the DPF was blocked and needed regenerating. Sadly it will not regen and there is a fault code 4175 coming up for the exhaust gas temp sensor.

I have had the sensor replaced (one before the DPF) yet the problem persists and it still says the same fault is there on the sensor.

As there is this fault I cannot force regen the DPF.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be at fault here?
