Heated rear window fault - centre works but right and left upper parts do not work

Hi,

I've just noticed that the upper right and left parts of the rear window are not demisting when I activate the heated rear window button. The main part (semi circle pattern) is working fine. The outer parts appear to be on a different electrical circuit in terms of the pattern on the rear window.

Has anyone else had this problem and any idea what it might be?

My car is going in to the garage for some trim stuff so I'll mention this but just wondered in advance.

Thanks

Normal function. The only part that is heated is the wiper arc. The other wiring is part of the antenna system.

Really?? Doh!, glad I asked then. I would have looked pretty stupid at the dealer ;-)

Very odd, though as there was mist on the window in the corners. Seems a sub optimal design
