iPhone 5 compatibility

I recently purchased a CPO 2007 X3. My wife's iPhone 4S pairs just fine. My iPhone 5 is not even recognized by the car, no pairing or even sensing of the Bluetooth signal. No Nav in the X3. Thoughts?

I have the same year X3, no nav. My iPhone5 paired in just seconds. Works fine.

iPhone 5 working fine here too. Are you following the pairing instructions to the letter?

My iPhone 5 paired with my 2010 X3 without a problem. The confusing part was finding the code on the small card that is with the owners manual.
