Hi,
I have a 2006 X3 black. According to the plate under the bonnet it says the colour is Black sapphire metallic. Now I've seen metallic colours before but this colour looks like a plain shiny black, i'de say just Black sapphire.....nothing appears "metallic" in the colour. The wifes peugeot is metallic Black and has the shiny bits and does look "metallic". Perhaps BMW's mettallic is like ordinary black maybe.
I want to be sure before I buy some touch up paint.

Any thoughts..

Forget the above...sun came out today and looking a little closer you can see the small metallic specs in the paint shining...

sorry for sounding a numpty....LOL

Lucky you. I'm not a fan of black in general, but Black Sapphire is nicer than Jet Black IMO
