Fun in the Snow before the BIG SNOW FALL, please look guys..

Hope you guys like this video I put together for everyone. We had so much fun and we will def be doing this again soon. I'm sure everyone knows about the big storm here in the Northeast, I'm very excited to test out the capabilities of the xdrive. Last year was nothing compared to whats about to happen. I'm running the conti extreme DWS, they have about 60% tread left and I'm positive they will perform as advertised. GOod Luck to everyone that is facing this storm head on....Take Care and please share my video.

Hey, this seems like the right thread to ask...

Is there a way to see the power delivered to each wheels on the xDrive info screen? I recall seeing it in one of the demos (X5).

Does the X3 have something similar?

Looks like fun:-) you guys running 275 rear tires? Do you have any issues with the x-drive when running staggered in the snow? The reason I am asking is because my dealership recommended not to have a staggered setup in winter.... Thanks for your thoughts!

Where you are located, I would recommend not going staggered unless you put snow tires on that are staggered but usually ppl don't do that anyway. 245 all around or thinner is great for the snow and winter, really good all seasons or dedicated winter...

I'm located in Switzerland. We do get some snow, but the roads are usually plowed. I use dedicated winter tyres from October to April. Currently 245 all around on my 369m cause the dealer recommended that..... However 245 on the rear 9.5 rim is pretty stretched and really does not look great:-( That is why I'd prefer to get 275 in back next year.

If you have 60% of tread on a DWS tire (10/32"), your at the bare minimum recommended tread depth for snow BTW

Yes brand new DWS tires have 10/32 of tread. AS tires are not at 100% performance when tread depth goes below 7/32, snows are 6/32, these are the "recommendations" of tire manufacturers.

Oh, my bad. I thought you meant that 10/32 was 60% tread life. I was like, "I got 60% when buying from Tire Rack, I got ripped off!"

I measured Crashnbrn5 tires he has 6/32 and 7/32 on his DWS. I have 10/32 on my DWS which I bought a month after him but because I had used them in my RWD Cadillac and proved itself in the snows

Love my DWS for my 20" stagger setup. But I couldn't waste my 19" 369M wheels so i put on winter tires for winter season. DWS will at least give me good buffer for switch over.

Late to post but I had a blast! It was anything but boring.

At the end of the day, I was sure glad to be in my F25. The conditions were not good, which made it all the more fun.

GJ on the video! You should post ALL of the video you shot.
