Chip for MY16 28d

I've ordered a MY16 U.S. spec 28d and was wondering if anyone out there has produced a "Chip" yet? I've contracted RaceChip and they need my KW/PS not to sure how convert. When I tried Google it came up with 132KW from 180HP is that correct? Thanks in advance

If your is a 2015 spec, I think you'll, find its 190hp.

The US 28d is still using the old engine with 184bhp not the new 190bhp engine .. Not sure why, think it may be a homologation issue

I will, unfortunately I'm still stationed overseas and my vehicle won't be delivered until August. I'm just doing research to see what mods work. I'd like to find out if the RaceChip makes the vehicle display a fault code.

Racing chips or modules for the 184hp model are offered by hartge, ac schnitzer and kelleners sport amongst others. I guess availability depends on your geographic location.

Thanks, gives me more to research. I'm not a mechanical genius, so whatever I do is going to have to be dummy proof.

@KwajJay , the F25 xDrive28d uses N47 diesel motor. It is the same as the F30 328d.
I have RC Ultimate in stock.

You guys are looking like the best bet. I looked into Hartge, and AC, can't figure out the big price difference. I'll contact you as my date gets closer.

Got to keep an eye on the performance graphs regarding hp and torque. They vary quite a lot between the different brands. While some chips will increase top speed, others will increase torque and acceleration. Furthermore some chips may increase 0-100km/h while others increase 100-200km/h. Really depends on what you need. Apparently some chips are permanently running, while others need to be activated with an external remote. I guess there really are differences.

Wow! I really do have a lot to look at. In the end I'll probably go with the easy solution. I know I'm not going to enter or win any races in my X.

Never say never.
I said that before, but an open track day got me into tracking my F15 X5.
